Formed in South London in 2014, Arch Rivals are a four-piece that embrace everything from post-rock to blues, along with a good helping of 1990s grunge.

The band have worked hard to hone their sound without any regard to scenes or trends.

Debut EP Something Wrong shows off the sheer breadth of their repertoire, which takes in unexpected twists, hard-hitting riffs and a handful of catchy choruses.

If that doesn’t cover all the bases, then think of Pearl Jam, Tall Ships, Foo Fighters, Black Keys, and Maybeshewill jamming in the world’s most crowded rehearsal room and you’re getting there.

Arch Rivals London, UK

Arran (vocals, guitar) and Chris (bass) met at university in 2005, where they regularly played at various acoustic open mic nights.

Since both moving to London they started jamming again, with Chris eventually bringing long-time childhood friend Gareth (guitar) into the band.
